Relaxing, vivacious, polished, timeless. I really love every project Los Angeles based interior designer has worked her magic on. This is just a sample from various homes that caught my eye. I adore the chair in the photo above.
A new extension hidden from the street. Contemporary meets heritage. Walls of glass versus walls of Federation red brick. Inside and out merge while light and cool breezes cross thresholds of sliding glass. Travertine floors and timber slat ceilings. Serene and introspective, the perfect urban oasis. Did you get the memo? Tuesday is cancelled. No work, no family responsibilities, no problem! Instead we are meeting up for drinks by the pool at the hotel in Bali. Maybe they’ll cancel Wednesday and Thursday as well.
If you would like to participate in the Monday’s pets on furniture series please send photos, your name, location and a brief description to kim[at]desiretoinspire[dot]net, or hashtag your photos on Instagram with #DTIpetsonfurniture. Thanks!
After a dry, dry winter the rains have come and my garden has sprung to back to life with new growth and a flush of flowers but oh how I wish this Melbourne garden by was mine! The front is filled with free flowing plantings, lush and green beneath mature trees. (I’ll admit I’ve always wanted a swing tied to a big old bough.) A more structured garden with alfresco entertaining space, fireplace and kitchen garden completes the space.
