AMAZEBALLS. The first word that came to my mind when I saw this spectacular home. was responsible for the restoration and interior design of this former studio and school building in William Merritt Chase’s Southampton Art Colony, founded in 1892…which now happens to be the home of Kate and Andy Spade (yes, THAT Kate Spade). The nine thousand square foot residence retains many original details and preserves the two large studios where Chase taught. This home immediately brought a smile to my face, and I imagine it brings a smile to everyone’s face who has had the pleasure to visit it in person. Now THAT IS A HOME. Steven Sclaroff, you are a GENIUS.
