Stalking subtle

Sometimes one can just have too much boulle and ormolu. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much fun. Today’s second house is a more subtle take on luxury. Starting with an equally impressive historic building the owners in this case have chosen an understated elegance. Greys and whites play against dark floors and modern, clean lined furniture and an open plan design play against the period features. Favourite here? The office. I would gladly home invade, er sorry, move in just for that office and of course the location. Gore St, Fitzroy, Melbourne. Sigh. Link while it lasts.

Melanie says:

When can I move in?

Great office yes. And I love the artwork over the bed.

This. Is. It. Awesome. A master was at work in this house. I will study each image to try to identify what is it that makes it so fabulous. First impression is mastery at volumes and coherence. Thank you for posting this jewel.

Ricardo says:

Amazing design; clean and manly especially the drapes/

peggy says:

Gorgeous! I could live here. And thank you for the two cool new words.

Adriene says:

Wah! Color coordinated books = We don't actually read these, they're just for decoration. *Sad face*
