My second stalking
victim I mean house is another little Victorian terrace this time in the Sydney suburb of Bondi Junction. Here extra space has been added through a modern two storey extension to the rear. Extra light floods in through bi-fold doors and clerestory windows and like our other house there is a striking modern staircase. Link while it lasts.
It’s all classic Sydney terrace house on the outside and contemporary home on the inside. Clean sleek lines, limited colour palette and a repeating circle motif are the take home points from this narrow little house I’m stalking in the suburb of Paddington. Link while it lasts.
Lisa and I have always expressed our love for church conversions, and this one is one of the most beautiful churches (built in 1881 and located in Kent, U.K.) we have ever featured. The furniture is a bit hand-me-down/garage-sale so ignore all that, and just imagine what you could do to the interior. The bedroom setup is incredible. That’s possibly the best headboard EVER 🙂 Currently for sale via .
I’m still stalking in Sydney. I’ve moved one suburb over to Redfern where the new house shares many things in common with my last stalking property. Concrete and wood, narrow and rising over several levels, modern but in this case a relatively new build as opposed to a terrace house gut and renovation. I’m torn between the two. I’m leaning more towards this house as it seems to have mellowed. Perhaps there’s more golden timber tones and a peek or two of softening greenery. Then again the Surry Hills house had those soaring ceilings and statement fireplace. Which do you prefer? Link while it lasts.
As you can see I’ve torn myself away from the garden I stalked in Paddington all the way to this garden in Queens Park not too far away. The house is a recently renovated and extended semi-detached Edwardian with exposed brick, concrete floors and that inside out connection that Australians crave. Link while it lasts.
