Photographer has captured my imagination. Her shots are full of beautiful light, unusual angles, clever composition and a little bit of honesty in a photoshopped world. Do I spy a lamp cord front and centre for all to see? So that’s how they turn it on 😉
I couldn’t get enough of ‘s photos yesterday so here are a few I held back that I fell in love with, and thought they deserved their own post. Especially the one above. I now want a splotchy black wall desperately.
Sometimes I crave simplicity. My life is pretty much non-stop work and the idea of coming home to a simple, raw, calm minimalist space really appeals to me. Of course, this will never ever happen but I can look at spaces and dream that I can live without stuff. Like this apartment by Barcelona’s . LOVE the lighting/clothes rail strips, and the sections of hardwood flooring amidst the concrete (particularly when it joins into a bench).
Hooray! Squarespace is working again. For a few hours there I watched a circle go round and round and round while the blog didn’t load. Not anymore. It’s time to stalk a modern home in Kew, Melbourne. I’ve been stalking it for hours… and hours… and hours. Now it’s your turn. A little bit brutalist with hard concrete surfaces but softened with rugs and art and furniture. Soaring ceilings and cosy spots. Love the backyard too. Once again a great campaign by the real estate agents including a video that sells the house even better than the photos. Link while it lasts.
, I am so sorry that we’ve been neglecting you for the past couple of years. We have a serious crush on you and have for quite some time and Lisa and I should be ashamed of ourselves for not doing an update post sooner. Your photography is always stellar – it’s no wonder your photos grace the pages of so many magazines and books. So why don’t I shut up now and just show the goods – that’s what our readers come here for after all.
