, a New York interior designer whom Lisa blogged about quite some time ago, emailed us to show off his new phenomenal apartment which he completely renovated in a fantastic modernist building in NYC. He says the complete gut renovation took only 13 weeks from demo to move-in (which is impressive to me, as my kitchen gut/reno took almost that long). David has done such a wonderful job creating a modern and sophisticated vibe. Every piece of furniture and accessory appears to have been so carefully selected as each one is eye-catching and perfectly suited. Thank you David for sharing your home with us!

Take one part brick, add white, mix with Missoni and repeat with mirrors. Fold the rough with the smooth and generously stir in lashings of style and you have a hip inner Sydney pad. Craig is the master of many styles and slave to none. Check out the rest of his portfolio .

I am rushing to get things done because I am heading out to celebrate my cousin’s 16th birthday. Which is crazy because I used to live with her when she was about 2 or 3. So HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY CRISTINA (Dude)!!!

(That’s her on the left with my niece)

In my rush I simply put together some photos from one of my favourite magazine sites – . All kinds of Danish loveliness can be found there – glossy black floors to drool over, pretty outdoor spaces, funky light fixtures, creative and gorgeous kitchens…

It’s almost the end of the work week and I haven’t posted anything Swedish. Oh… neither has Li! Time to remedy that. How about this little flat. Kitchen, bathroom and just one more room. Lots of white. Plenty of Scandinavian style and for someone like me who LOVES to cook I’d be very happy with a cute kitchen just that size and my bedroom in the living room. Maybe I’ll move in! From of course.
