Stunning images from photographer Birgitta Wolfgang Drejer who specializes in interior and lifestyle photography. Her work featuring regularly in Danish and international shelter magazines as well as her own series of books. Birgitta photographs light so beautifully while conveying the mood of a room. I’m blown away by the Scandinavian style she captures through her lens. Her understanding of the meaning of a space is apparent. Love it all! Don’t miss her snow series in her portfolio. Gorgeous.
Scattered throughout Sydney are these beautiful oases in an urban landscape. Secret Gardens is a holistic landscape design team founded by Matthew Cantwell. Beautiful inspirational gardens whether a sprawling garden or a small inner city courtyard.
P.S A link finally for the reader (whose email I inadvertently deleted) who wanted to know the name and source of the white sunlounge in the first photo after it featured in a Noosa post.
I’d like to introduce you to one of the wildest hotels I’ve ever seen. This is a glimpse into the Byblos Art Hotel – Villa Amista, a five-star hotel in Verona. Talk about creative and over-the-top decor. I imagine staying here would have you feeling a bit like Alice in Wonderland. The colours are simply stunning.
Interior design genius. That pretty much sums up my thoughts on Frank Roop after perusing his website and drooling profusely over the fabrics (hellooooo velvets!), wall coverings and furniture. There were so many gorgeous photos, so check out his portfolio for much more design goodness. In the meantime I’d like to share with you some of my favourites.
What did I find when I got home from work? My inbox overflowing with images of super stylist Megan Morton’s latest work, this fabulous apartment in Sydney’s new iconic residential tower Lumière. Megan you take my breath away. Fun, funky, and a cacophony of colour. When can I move in? (See more of Megan’s work here and here and here and here – another absolute DTI favourite.) Don’t forget to click on the photos to see every detail in supersize.
